Solid fillers like expandable graphite generate a “slurry” when blended with polyol that can be injected directly into the mixing head.
With Solistream, this slurry is added as an additional stream in the mixing head and injected into the mixing chamber at medium pressure, while the main polyol and isocyanate streams are injected at high pressure at the same time. Our patented solution guarantees high mixing performances and filler structure preservation.
Solistream is particularly suitable for continuous lines producing sandwich panels and polyiso boards.
