Refrigerated truck walls production

We deliver advanced technologies and solutions for producing refrigerated truck walls using both open-mold and closed-mold methods. Our approach combines efficiency, high thermal performance, and cost-effectiveness.

By foaming entire walls in a single pour, we eliminate thermal bridges, while our expertise with Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIPs) ensures superior insulation for even the most demanding applications.

Pouring of multiple mixing heads

By deploying foam vertically across the mold, the up-to-five-head simultaneous pouring method ensures even distribution and minimizes material waste significantly reducing the management and disposal costs of residual materials. Casting the entire wall in a single operation enhances thermal efficiency and durability, making it the preferred choice for high-volume, cost-efficient production.

Once poured, the panel is transferred into a trolley press for curing. At the end of this process, the panel is automatically extracted. The entire process is fully automated and controlled through a PLC.

Pouring in a tube

This method is ideal for producing large panels such as refrigerated truck roofs and walls. Utilizing two mixing heads, foam is poured simultaneously into a central tube, ensuring uniform coverage. This approach balances simplicity and performance.

For this technology, Cannon provides a complete plant solution, including:

Closed-mold production for structural components and doors

Closed-mold production is the optimal choice for panels with structural inserts or smaller panels, such as floors, rear doors and integrated fronts, which require both high load-bearing capacity and thermal efficiency. A multidaylight press with independent openings allows each layer to operate autonomously. Foam is applied directly to each layer using a mixing head mounted on a Cartesian robot. This method ensures flexibility and precision, enabling simultaneous curing of multiple panels while optimizing production flow.

Our closed-mold technology supports fully automated operations, producing easily a finished panel every 180 seconds while maintaining high efficiency across cycles. This method delivers exceptional insulation performance while ensuring the structural integrity necessary for refrigerated truck floors and doors.
