Our state-of-the-art preforming lines achieve takt times under 60 seconds, leveraging our expertise in stack heating, transferring, and precise draping onto the mold’s lower half.
For dry stacks, transferring and draping is performed by independently controlled “Smart Grippers,” which move individually to ensure optimal stack placement.
To address the challenge of preforming pre-preg materials, we developed the Triple Vacuum Frame (TVF), a patented solution that easily handles viscous pre-preg material without dirtying the grippers.
TVF is not limited to prepreg, it also preforms standard dry fiber stacks more efficiently, meaning you can create more complex shapes than before.
