The composition of each automotive plant is tailored 100% to the client’s needs and, depending on the part to be produced, will vary greatly.
For each application, we provide the complete line for manufacturing your product, which can include a combination of: dosing units, mixing heads, preformers, presses, molds, stacking lines, composite ovens, thermoforming machines, and chemical storage, along with automation, process monitoring & control.
Plants for automotive parts are complex, and sometimes involve combining plants for molded polyurethane with equipment for processing carbon fiber composites, turnkey thermoforming machines, and for some special applications (like heat shields), even aluminum.
Furthermore, the demand for PUR-coated components in the automotive sector is growing. For this technology, known as Clearmelt, Cannon has developed dedicated equipment such as the A-Compact HT dosing machine and the LN /3 mixing head, leveraging our deep expertise in designing equipment for processing polyurethane.
An example of this is our partnership with ENGEL, which offers the market an integrated solution for injection molding and coating, combining the strengths of both companies to deliver state-of-the-art technology.
