Founded in 1955, Trancerie Emiliane is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal that is used for producing electric motors, die-cast rotors, and transformers. They provide their customers with customized solutions focusing on product versatility, quality, and innovation, making them an indispensable partner.
The challenge
Trancerie Emiliane has chosen us to provide another vertical die-casting machine, an innovative TCS RotorOne 2500 S. Their goal is to produce rotors that exit the process ready to be mounted on automotive motors. In addition, the new machine would need to be equipped for automating processes with the highest degree of precision to meet the requirements of this stringent market.
Our solution
On introduction, our TCS RotorOne revolutionized the aluminum die-casting process, becoming the benchmark. With this version, we have gone a step farther: the 2500 S model handles external diameters between 130 and 180 mm and delivers short cycle times (around 55-60 seconds), while vacuum-assisted injection increases the resulting quality.
The machine ensures extremely low porosity and high mass balance for the final product, with detailed process control.
Equipped with a double container kit, it offers two separate container sets in different sizes, easily changed by selecting the necessary recipe for optimizing process parameters: molten metal pressure, ingate speed & flow rate, injection time and slug dimensions.
TCS RotorOne carries out lubrication, slug ejection, stack preparation and loading, casting mandrel removal, and rotor unloading. Its quality control measures include injection curve analysis, as well as other supplementary checks, ensuring that each rotor meets the highest industry standards.
