TCS RotorOne

The TCS RotorOne vertical die-casting machine is the perfect turnkey solution for producing small/medium rotors for electric motors at high production rate. Our patented equipment is purposely designed to easily work as a standalone cell or be integrated with automatic lines.

TCS RotorOne key features

Rotor ext. diameter

from 20 up to 240 mm

Aluminum quantity

from 0.4 up to 20 kg

Single cavity approach

allows injection consistency

Injection force

up to 1100 kN

Designed to perfection

The TCS RotorOne is designed to operate as a cold chamber machine with vertical injection. Its unique design features two rotating tables, which handle multiple lower single-cavity dies and container/plunger groups.

Thanks to this configuration, during rotor injection and cooling, it is possible to perform all ancillary operations in hidden time and to maintain short cycle times with the benefit of producing a single rotor for each injection.

Required injection force and speed are typically lower than horizontal die-casting for the same product class.

TCS RotorOne advantages

High production rates: Fully automatic operations, including automatic aluminum dosing, lubrication, and load-unload procedures, ensure efficiency and speed.

Quick die change: Minimal downtime with production change times ranging 10-30 minutes, depending on machine and die dimensions. No setup is needed to change only stack height.

Significantly smaller and simpler molds compared to other production solutions.

Enhanced cast part quality: The machine injects molten metal vertically, with very short injection channels, reducing turbulence and gas entrapment, resulting in lower porosity and improved electrical efficiency for your cast parts.

Versatility: This injection unit is adaptable to many applications, including welded or interlocked stacks, loose lamination with casting mandrels, featuring open or closed slots, and different raw materials like pure Al or Al-Si alloy.

Space-efficient design: The compact design requires minimal space, often eliminating the need for a foundation pit, making it easy to position in your workshop.

Minimized rotor deformation: The unique tool and die-casting unit design ensures the machine’s closing force does not directly affect the lamination stack, thanks to a dedicated and adjustable compensation system.

Reduced slug weight: Achieve reduced slug weight through a single-cavity die and short straight gates.

Low operating costs: Easy maintenance and low operating costs make this product cost-effective.
