C2P

Our C2P low-pressure dosing unit is designed to process two-component systems for insulating and potting electrical and electronic components. This process not only protects devices against the environment, preventing dust, moisture and chemical agents from penetrating, but also protects the incorporated know-how by making the product immune to analysis. The insulating resin, with its adhesive and flame-retardant properties, provides overheat dissipation and better vibration dampening.

Dosing unit key features

Compact design, mounted on one skid to facilitate positioning,

use less space and make the operator’s work easier

Easily processes polyurethane formulations, epoxy and silicon resins

at atmospheric pressure or in a vacuum

Equipped with high-precision dosing gear pumps operated by brushless motors,

allowing large variations in output and mixing ratios continuously

Designed to perfection

The C2P works with a wide range of ratios (up to 10:1), high viscosity components, and extremely small outputs (down to a minimum of 0.30 g/s). High precision dosing gear pumps ensure that all parameters are kept constant, leading to outstanding protection for the parts.

By using brushless motors controlled in an electronic closed loop, production performance increases compared to traditional piston pumps which require multiple extra parts to achieve a similar result.

Dosing unit advantages

The micro-potting mixing head’s design is compact, allowing for static or dynamic mixing using single-use plastic mixers

Easy to use, saving valuable time between setup and beginning production

Excellent accessibility to facilitate maintenance and cleaning

Accurate control over machine parameters and component temperature

Adjustable pouring pressure

Maximum precision, steadiness and process repeatability

Able to memorize up to 99 pouring programs, allowing the operator to manage and modify the process parameters

Configuration

  • 50l jacketed carbon steel tanks with stirrer, level control, automatic refilling, with the possibility to operate in a vacuum for batch degassing
  • Heated hoses to work with components at room temperature or with heat to speed up the reaction
  • Filters for pump protection
  • High precision metering pump group operated by closed loop brushless motors fitted with digital encoders
  • PLC with dedicated touch-screen operator panel to control and manage parameters
  • Static or dynamic changeable single-use mixer
